Mattresses are one of the worst things to deal with on your own. They don't fit in a car. They don't fit in a dumpster (legally, in most cities). They flop around when you try to strap them to a roof rack. And in Oregon, raw mattresses dropped at most transfer stations get hit with a special fee on top of standard tipping costs. We haul every mattress size sold in the US: twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, California king, split kings, RV mattresses, futon mattresses, crib mattresses, and the awkward odd-sizes from custom frames. Box springs are included at no extra cost when paired with the mattress. Bed frames — metal, wood, platform, adjustable bases — all included if you want them gone with the mattress.
The workflow is the same as everything else we do. Text a photo to 503-383-6895. Tell us how many mattresses and where they are in the house. You get an upfront price in minutes. We schedule, usually for that same day, show up, haul them out, and you're done. We use plastic mattress bags when there's any concern about bed bugs or stains so nothing tracks through your hallway.
What happens after pickup matters. We sort mattresses by condition. Anything in donation shape goes to local non-profits. Anything past donation gets routed to mattress recycling — the foam, steel, cotton, and wood get separated and recovered. Mattress recycling isn't free for us, but it's the right call, and we don't add a surcharge for doing it. The price you text is the price you pay.
