Yard debris piles up faster than anything else on a property. A weekend of pruning fills a quarter of your driveway. A storm drops half a tree across your fence. The old shed you said you'd take down last summer is starting to lean. Salem's yard-debris bins are useful for ongoing maintenance but useless for the big jobs. Astyle handles the big jobs — same-day, with a real truck.

We pick up the full range of yard waste: tree limbs and branches up to about 8 inches in diameter (anything larger, call us — we can sometimes coordinate), hedge clippings and brush, leaves (bagged or loose), grass clippings, sod and turf tear-out, root balls, landscape rock and small-volume gravel, old mulch, garden waste, dead plants and stumps (small to medium), bamboo (we know — it's a problem), and full hedge or row removals.

We also do the larger yard projects most haulers don't: shed teardowns (wood and metal), playground equipment removal (swing sets, trampolines, treehouses), old fence removal (wood, chain-link, vinyl), trampoline disassembly, deck demolition (small and medium-sized), pergola tear-downs, dog kennel removal, and the random landscape detritus that always seems to live behind the garage. If it's a structure under a certain size and it's outside, we can probably take it.

For Salem-area homeowners after a wind storm or ice event: we move quickly. Storm cleanup is one of the busiest categories we run. Send us photos of what came down and we'll get on the schedule fast. For ongoing landscape contractors, we offer recurring-haul pricing — same as our construction debris program. Call 503-383-6895.

How Pricing Works

Upfront. From a photo.

Yard debris is priced by truck volume — quarter, half, or full load. Shed teardowns, fence removals, and deck demos are flat-priced after we see photos. Storm cleanup pricing reflects volume and access (are we hauling out of a backyard, or can we pull the truck up to a curbside pile). Text or call 503-383-6895 with a couple of photos.

FAQ

Yard Debris Removal — Common questions

  • After a storm hits Salem we run hard. Most storm hauls are scheduled within 24-48 hours of the call. We're open 7 days, including the day after the wind comes through.

  • Yes. Wood, vinyl, chain-link — we tear out, pull posts, and haul. Flat-rate priced per linear foot or per section.

  • Small to medium stumps yes, especially if they've been pre-cut by a tree service. Large old-growth stumps may need a stump grinder — we'll tell you when something is outside our scope and point to a tree service.

  • Yes — shed teardowns are routine. Wood and metal, up to about 12x16 feet. We disassemble in place and haul.

  • Both. We bring the right tools to disassemble and haul. Springs go to scrap recycling, frame goes to scrap, mats go to disposal.

  • Almost entirely. Wood and brush go to local composting and chipping facilities. Sod and dirt get reused or routed to legitimate landscaping channels. Very little yard debris hits the landfill.
